Quelles est votre parcours professionnel et artistique ?
/ Do you have an artistic education ?
Well yes and no. I have a BA ( HONS ) degree in Philosophy and also
in Cinema. When I was a child at school I was not allowed to take the art
classes as the teacher was famous for locking young girls in cupboards.
I would have been perfectly content to do art in the cupboard by myself
but somehow I don't thnk that was what the teacher had would have had
in mind!

Quelles sont vos influences, qu’est-ce qui vous inspire ?
/ What are your influences , what inspires you ?
Any art, literature, cinema or music that explores : Transgression, Contradictions, Religion, Sexuality, Mental Illness, Chaos etc My influences are endless and constantly in flux. I could write a whole book about them, but sometimes the less words we use the more powerful the final thought is.

Quel est votre processus de création ?/ What is the process of your work ?
I have visions in my mind and then form them into concrete realities. I work in photography, performance art ( using the body as canvas for ritual ), cut and paste collage, mixed media and installations.

It is vital! Subtle references, in-jokes, a point of focus, memories, inspiration, word play, all of these things can be found within the titles..

Avez-vous des obsessions ? lesquelles et pourquoi ?/ Do you have any obsessions ? If yes wich ones and why ?
Death, Decay, Disobedience, Dogma, Dismemberment, Dirt, Decay, Demons, Discipline, Discord, Decadence, Danger, Deviance, Damnation, Debauchery, Disinformation, Drunkeness, Deicide.........
And that's just the D's!!! It is our individual obsessions that make us who we truly are.
